I could be missing some big, easy solution. The tag inserts the text of all the citations which have been defined in tags up to that point in the page.
I should say here that I'm new to MediaWiki and am still grappling with it a little bit. You can use the API to build apps and scripts that search and display wiki pages, get media files, and explore page history. The second response leads to a dead link. The MediaWiki Core REST APIlets you interact with MediaWiki by sending HTTPrequests to unique URLs. The first response basically says to set up citation templates on my MediaWiki site based on Wikipedia's templates, which seems like it would involve copying like 40+ templates (at least). I've seen some older posts in this forum about MediaWiki, but none that seems to get at what I'm asking, except for one from way back in 2008: in BKCASE Editorial Board, Guide to the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK), version 1.8, R.D. Content is available under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike. This query language can be used on the special page Special:Ask, in concepts, and in inline queries. The syntax of this query language is similar to the syntax of annotationsin Semantic MediaWiki. I've been using Zotero for years, and am hoping there's a way to easily export citations into a MediaWiki page.įollowing that model, I'd like to be able to drag a citation into my MediaWiki page (between the tags) and for the fields to be formatted appropriately in the citation list at the bottom of the page. This page was last edited on 16 March 2023, at 13:38. Semantic MediaWikiincludes an easy-to-use query languagewhich enables users to access the wikis knowledge. I recently started a private wiki using MediaWiki.
